Sensory Awareness Artist in Residency Programme

Rachel is currently working with Carson St school, Perth, W.A with a team of artists on a Sensory Awareness Residency around making participative and experiential theatre for PMLD children. Have had a wonderful time facilitating staff, parents and pupils on a Sensory Walk and storytelling the Jub Jub Tree, an original story devised by Amber Onat Gregory who has returned to the UK, and set up her sensory theatre company

Tell Me A Tale runs creative community projects with vulnerable and excluded groups. We have run projects in schools, hospitals, care homes, prisons, Immigration Detention Centres and with various community/arts organisations in the UK, Turkey and Australia.

Rachel is very much enjoying working with artists Michelle Hovane, Francis Italiano and Bec Bradley, and exploring the world of where sensory theatre meets visual theatre meets early years theatre via aided language displays and Makaton signing, plus of course music!
