DNA Co-founder Adam Bennett is bringing 20 years of puppetry and performing arts experience to Scitech, Perth’s science education and interactive visitor attraction.
Scitech was founded in 1988, about the same time Adam got his first job as a puppeteer at Perth’s Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. Having returned to Perth in 2010 after 20 years in Europe as a freelance performer and puppeteer, founding DNA Puppetry and Visual Theatre with Rachel Riggs, Adam is now strategically developing the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company as well as working on the performances for Scitech’s puppet theatre.
Adam is also directing the ‘Things that Glow’ science show in the Lotterywest Science Theatre for a special After Dark adults-only performance. This performance will form part of a special Adults Only evening on April 30th 2011.
