A Walk In The Woods in Cleethorpes

Imaginary Leaps artist Liz spent a fantastic weekend working with children and their families at The Discovery Centre in Cleethorpes as part of The Birdhouse Theatre’s winter programme for Early Years on the 19th & 20th February.

Great fun was had as over 150 particpants walked through the door on a wet and windy weekend.  Children, parents, carers & grandparents created a magical woods from tissue paper, string, glue, brightly coloured fabrics and wool, sprinkled with beautiful mushroom lights for Hansel & Gretel to walk through.

Children were delighted as the tiny pair of puppets interacted with them using their beautifully constructed structures as part of the “set” and managing to include each and every child in the story.
