Imaginary Leaps at the Art Gallery of Western Australia

Exciting news! Imaginary Leaps is to lead a new programme of Early years arts activities at AGWA, Perth.

Every week, pre-schooler’s  can explore and enjoy the art gallery with specially created adventures and activities.

Together we will journey through AGWA, investigating themes of artworks such as animals or people and places, looking at colour, shape and texture, amongst many other things the children find.

Playing with objects, materials and puppets, using our senses to explore with song, movement & music .

Making art through experiential play, eg simple puppets, mark making, clay models, sticking collages

‘Imaginary Leaps’ creative play aids development and emotional intelligence, and acts as a communication tool, between AGWA artworks and their future audience.
